PED3 iPhone Rotating Stand - iPhone Accessories

A nice iPhone accessory we will review today is the PED3 iPhone stand from Thought Out. There are a few other horizontal or vertical stands for the iPhone, including some cases that can become tabletop stands for watching movies, but PED3 stands out from all them with two unique features.
First of all, it's built out of solid steel. Yes, solid steel. And you can imagine what that means. The sturdy, black powder coated stand is built to last ages. Also an unexpected advantage of this material is the weight of the device, thus creating a stabile base, allowing you to operate iPhone controls without the fear of it slipping from the table. The rubber grips on the bottom also contribute to it's stability.
Second unique feature of this iPhone stand is the fact that it rotates 360 degrees, allowing the phone to sit in both horizontal position while watching movies and vertical position like an usual cradle. You can also keep the iPhone at any other angle, but i can't imagine why would you want that. But it's good to know that if you want it, you can.
Also the vertical angle can be adjusted into two positions, by moving the holster into one of the two holes of the stand. This provides a confortable viewing position for people of all heights.
The iPhone is hold into place by seven rubber covered metal grips, placed around the device in such a way that it allows access to all jacks and controls, including the dock conector and the headphone jack. There is even a split in the base for the data cable.
Overall the PED3 is an excelent stand and is worth the $39.99 price. It is also available in a custom made version for the iPod Touch.
