Why would you need an iPhone cradle since it comes packed with a really nice one? Well since the stock one is most probably plugged into one of your home computer USB ports, and since carrying your dock around is just not very convenient you may feel the need for a second one for your desk at work.
And, if you already decided you will buy one, why not get a really cool one to fit your iPhone's metallic design. Let's face it the standard dock looks like it was made for the iPod, not the iPhone, it's nice but it's white and it's made of plastic.

Along many other iPhone accessories launched ar CES this year, Griffin announced this PowerDock for the iPhone. It has the ability to charge multiple devices at the same time, but, unfortunately, lacks the computer conection capability of the regular iPhone dock.
But anyway, it is a convenient way to charge your family or friends iPhones in the four-slot version, or the ideal charger for your iPhone in the two slot version.

As you probabily now the iPhone has a 3.5 mm stereo recessed headphone jack, which is compatible only with the stereo headset that is delivered with the phone and a small range of third party headphones.  Well if you spend alot of time in the midle of the nature, in remote places on mountain trails, or just want to spend all day laying in the sun at the beach, you might encounter a verry common problem, the lack of power for your phone.
