Some say technology and nature don't belong together, but the iPhone is a great tool when you go camping. You can take and see pictures, you can use Google Maps to navigate around, you can access the web to identify species of plants or wildlife you see and you can check the weather forecast. Also you can use it like an iPod and listen to music on the long walks, although this might spoil the fun in some cases.
But, if you are a fan of outdoors and like going camping for a few days, you know these trips in the middle of nowhere mean, in most cases, that you'll be completely cutt off from electricity.
So what are you suppose to do with your iPhone? You can leave it at home, but in this case, you can't comunicate with your friends, family or business partners. And in case of emergency, a phone is the difference between rescue or disaster.
You must take it with you, but, because of the limited battery life, you have to turn it off and only start it when you make phone calls and to check your messages, but you'll miss all the cool functions we talked about in the begining of this article.
