If you switched from a palm or other smartphone to a new iPhone, I bet you miss your stylus. As we all know iPhone was designed to be operated directly by fingers and it's display does not recognize other contact but skin. That's why you can't use an old stylus pen with an iPhone.

But why would you need a stylus anyway? Well the fingers are good enough for regular operations and, despite some oppinions, you can enter text very easy using the keyboard. But when it comes to drawing ... well, we can all agree that the smudges you make on the screen are not exactley artwork. Also there are some games and other apps that crowded too many elements on the tiny screen, making them hard to use with your fingers. Tiny links on some sites could require an iPhone stylus too. And last, but not least, the ladies with long fingernails have complained that the iPhone is kinda hard to operate and a stylus could come in handy.

So the guys from Taiwan located company Songtak Technology comed to furfill this need for an iPhone stylus. They developed a stylus that has the same conductive properties of human skin, convincing the iPhone to work with it. And for the skeptics they even created a video demo on their site, that clearly demonstrates how the stylus is used to type on iPhone's keyboard. Here it is: iPhone Stylus Demo. The video is nice but a drawing demo could have been more apropriate, since fewer and fewer people complain about the keyboard, as they get used to it.

A similar deviced was presented under the name of "TapRight" by the iPhone games creators at iGiki (at a $20 price tag), since many games could be easier to operate with a stylus. You can see theyr page here: tapright.iGiki.com

The next usefull thing would be an iPhone case with a stylus slot.

You can see Songtak Technology's website here: Songtak.com.tw althought we could not find any details regarding the stylus, like price or something, except for the demo video.
