Why would you need an iPhone cradle since it comes packed with a really nice one? Well since the stock one is most probably plugged into one of your home computer USB ports, and since carrying your dock around is just not very convenient you may feel the need for a second one for your desk at work.
And, if you already decided you will buy one, why not get a really cool one to fit your iPhone's metallic design. Let's face it the standard dock looks like it was made for the iPod, not the iPhone, it's nice but it's white and it's made of plastic.
But this thinCRADLE from Incipio is made of aircraft grade aluminium with soft surfaces in either black or silver with scratch resistant finishing. The silver version is bead blasted natual aluminium and the black one is anodized, similar to the iPhone.
